I have to disagree with the idea that new media shouldn't be studied. It probably has a lot to do with my liking of all things dealing with culture, language, and anthropology; but to me, every part of culture is open to study and debate. What does it mean? How does it define our past, present and most importantly, our future? Not that new media shouldn't be accepted, but rather, that society's eager acceptance of all things internet shows just how important new media is to our culture.
