Complexity vs. simplicity

When I look at comics…
I do not see what Mcloud sees. But after reading the article–which was interesting to read b/c it was a comic informing the reader of comics–I guess I appreciated the depth of comics a bit more.
Honestly, however, when I read comics–I just want to look at them like a child does and just have fun with them. I don’t want to think about the complexities that are there.
This analyzation of comics, I guess, is necessary for education and studies? I mean everything in the world can be analyzed and it seems that b/c of the education system, everything does in the end get analyzed. I just never thought that simple comics would turn out…so complex…
